The Love-a-Parish Program (LAPP) is one extraordinary social service program that sets Greenbelt Chapel different and above other parishes/chapels in the country. In all masses every first Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and third Wednesday of the month, LAPP envelopes are distributed to the Greenbelt Chapel faithful to raise funds for the regular financial support of 478 poor parishes all over the country, houses of Charity, such as the Missionaries of Charity of Mother Teresa and Poor Clare, and charitable institutions like the Caritas Manila.
The LAPP began in the early ’90s with the thrust of really helping the poor in our society by building for them homes and giving them livelihood programs that would support their daily existence.
The generosity of mass goers has made the LAPP the highest-funded program in the chapel. To date, the present recipients of the LAPP (dioceses, parishes, and organizations country-wide) and their expressions of gratitude through “Thank You” letters and greetings are on display at the LAPP bulletin board at the Chapel’s center bridge.
Please inquire at the Chapel Office at +632 7729-8173 for your donations and/or assistance.
You may also deposit your LAPP donations via BPI Greenbelt Chapel LAPP account no. 1575-0098-12. Upon deposit, please do not forget to send a copy of the deposit slip thru email gbc2013office@gmail.com for proper acknowledgement.
